Policy review date: 8 October 2026
Refund and cancellation conditions differ by PSPA event and programme. Please read the conditions on the relevant programme page, registration form or official payment invitation before registering or paying.
Check the conditions for your programme
Programme-specific terms should state the cancellation deadline, refund eligibility and amount, any disclosed deductions, transfer or substitution options, and the arrangements if PSPA or a delivery partner changes or cancels the programme. Where several organisations are involved, the notice should identify who receives the payment and handles refunds.
The conditions disclosed and accepted at registration apply to that booking, subject to applicable law. A later website update will not retrospectively replace those conditions. If the relevant terms are missing or unclear, contact PSPA before paying. Do not assume that every payment is refundable or that every programme is non-refundable.
Requesting a cancellation or refund
Write to connect@pspa.org.in with the subject “Refund request — [programme name]”. Include your registered name and email, programme or event name, payment date and amount, transaction/reference ID and the reason for the request. Use Contact PSPA if you need help locating the right process.
PSPA will verify the payment and assess the request against the terms applicable to your booking, then communicate the decision and any eligible amount. Do not send card numbers, CVVs, passwords, OTPs or UPI PINs. A screenshot alone is not confirmation that a payment has settled.
If PSPA changes or cancels an activity
If an activity is cancelled or materially changed, PSPA will communicate the available arrangements, such as a revised date, a transfer or a refund for the affected service, in accordance with the disclosed programme terms and applicable law. Travel, accommodation or other expenses booked independently are governed by the relevant supplier’s conditions unless PSPA has expressly agreed otherwise.
Any stated non-refundable amount, deduction or restriction must be disclosed before payment and remains subject to applicable legal rights.
Duplicate, failed or disputed payments
If you see a duplicate debit, failed transaction or payment with no registration confirmation, contact PSPA with the reference details before paying again. PSPA and the payment provider will need to verify the transaction status. Bank reversals for failed transactions are handled through the payment system and may follow a different process from an approved programme refund.
How approved refunds are processed
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method, where supported, after the relevant payment has been verified. PSPA will communicate initiation details or a refund reference when available. The time for the credit to appear depends on the gateway, payment method and bank; there is no universal instant-refund guarantee.
Payment-provider rules apply to processing and settlement, while PSPA’s disclosed programme conditions determine the refund decision. Nothing in this policy removes rights available under applicable law.
Donations and enquiries
Donations are distinct from programme or event fees. If a donation was made in error or requires review, contact PSPA promptly; any adjustment must also account for applicable donation reporting and certificates. A donation receipt or 80G certificate is not a programme booking.
For assistance, use Contact PSPA or write to connect@pspa.org.in. Also see Website & programme terms and Privacy policy.
