School leaders from SSLP Cohort 01 at IIM Ranchi

54 school leaders. 11 states. One shared leadership journey.

The inaugural Strategic School Leadership Program brought 54 school leaders from 11 states to IIM Ranchi on 6–8 August 2026 for a three-day residential executive-learning experience. Principals and education leaders brought the perspectives of their institutions into a shared conversation about the future of schools.

The programme connected personal leadership with academic priorities and the systems that sustain a school. Faculty interaction, reflective dialogue and the residential setting created opportunities to exchange professional practice.

The three-day learning journey

Day 1 · Self-leadership and strategic direction

Personal mastery and leadership identity; educational vision, philosophy and culture building; communication, influence and stakeholder engagement.

Day 2 · Academic leadership and learning excellence

Curriculum leadership and alignment with NCF 2023; brain-based pedagogy and differentiated instruction; assessment leadership and academic excellence.

Day 3 · Organisational leadership and sustainable impact

Talent management, recruitment and professional development; team dynamics and instructional leadership systems; organisational excellence, technology, finance and school branding.

Faculty expertise in the programme design

The Cohort 01 brochure featured Prof. Amit Sachan, Prof. Tanusree Dutta, Prof. Ashok Pandey, Prof. Gaurav Manohar Marathe, Prof. Rojers P Joseph, Prof. Angshuman Hazarika and Prof. Manish Bansal. Their areas span operations, organisational behaviour and human resources, strategy and entrepreneurship, legal studies and responsible business, and finance and accounting.

Taking learning back to school

The curriculum was designed to help leaders clarify institutional direction, align curriculum and assessment, strengthen teaching talent and build effective instructional systems. These are the programme’s learning aims; the cohort story and photographs document PSPA’s first residential executive programme with IIM Ranchi.

The brochure specified a collaborative IIM Ranchi–PSPA certificate recording the topics covered and course hours.
