PSPA’s sixth national conference · A two-day conclave
COLLOQUIUM: The National Summit of School Principals, a two-day conclave, took place on 26–27 September 2025 at GITAM University, Rudraram, Hyderabad. Its theme, “Unifying Schools, Universities and Industries,” connected school leadership with perspectives from higher education and the world of work.
The summit was designed as a meeting place for school principals, heads of institutions, senior leadership teams, education policy makers, teacher educators, university representatives and industry practitioners.
Why this conversation matters
Schools prepare young people for a changing world. The colloquium’s focus was the connection between classroom learning and employability: how school leaders can strengthen learning, understand emerging industry expectations and help students become adaptable, responsible citizens.
Learning across institutional boundaries
Schools and universities
Bring research, academic perspectives and school practice into conversation, with space to exchange ideas about teaching and learning.
Industry and the future of work
Explore innovation, skills and changing expectations beyond school, and consider what they mean for educational leadership.
Dialogue, practical insight and professional exchange
The published programme combined keynote speeches, expert talks, panel discussions and a fireside chat with mentor dialogues, pedagogical exhibits and informal professional exchange. It also included awards and opportunities to build connections across institutions.
The brochure positioned the two-day summit as continuing professional learning for principals, with an emphasis on ideas that could be adapted to the realities of their schools.
Part of a wider professional-learning network
The GITAM Hyderabad colloquium belongs in PSPA’s programme catalogue alongside its national conferences, regional conclaves and executive leadership learning. This page records the completed 2025 conclave.
